Lamps are the most personal light in a house, and the showroom treats them that way: marble and brass bases, linen drums, rattan, leadlight, retro glass mushrooms and touch lamps, lit and on the shelf so you can see the glow, not a product photo. New table and floor lamps arrive through the year.
Cosmo is one of the few shops that still sells lamp shades separately, and the repair bench rewires and restores lamps: a leadlight from a grandmother, a 1970s glass shade, a bedside lamp that has had decades of use.
